Patagonia, a vast and rugged region shared by Argentina and Chile, is one of the most breathtaking and untamed wildernesses in the world. Stretching across the southern tip of South America, this remote area is a land of dramatic landscapes, where towering mountains, pristine glaciers, and sweeping plains meet to create a paradise for adventurers and nature lovers.
Argentine Patagonia
On the Argentine side, Patagonia offers some of the continent’s most iconic natural wonders. The region is perhaps best known for Los Glaciares National Park, home to the awe-inspiring Perito Moreno Glacier. This massive glacier, one of the few in the world that is still advancing, is a spectacle of creaking ice and thunderous calving, drawing visitors from around the globe. El Chaltén, the trekking capital of Argentina, offers access to world-class hiking trails that lead to stunning views of the jagged Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre peaks, making it a must-visit for mountaineers and outdoor enthusiasts.
The windswept plains of Patagonia’s steppe are home to an array of wildlife, including guanacos, rheas, and the elusive puma. In the coastal regions, Peninsula Valdés is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its rich marine life, including southern right whales, orcas, sea lions, and Magellanic penguins. This is a region where the connection to nature is profound, and the landscapes are as diverse as they are spectacular.
Chilean Patagonia
Just across the border in Chile, Patagonia reveals an equally stunning, yet distinct, character. The crown jewel of Chilean Patagonia is Torres del Paine National Park, a place of legendary beauty with its iconic granite towers, turquoise lakes, and sprawling glaciers. This park is a hiker’s dream, offering some of the most renowned trekking routes in the world, including the famous W Trek and O Circuit. Here, adventurers can immerse themselves in an otherworldly landscape of rugged mountains, deep valleys, and glacial rivers.
Further south, the remote Magallanes Region and the Southern Ice Fields beckon explorers with their vast ice-covered expanses and dramatic fjords. Punta Arenas, the gateway to Chilean Patagonia, serves as a launching point for expeditions to the wilds of Tierra del Fuego and cruises through the fjords and channels that lead to the imposing Cape Horn.

Half day City Tour
Duration: 4 hs
Sightseeing
The most important sights of Buenos Aires arise from the centerpiece of this half-day tour. Start driving through the narrows streets of the old city and the broad avenues that mark Buenos Aires modern growth. On South America’s broadest avenue, 9 de Julio Avenue, we see Colon Theater and the “Obelisco”.
Around the “Plaza de Mayo” (May Square), we will see the “Casa Rosada” (Pink colored House, which houses the mythical balcony from where Evita used to address people), the Cathedral (with the mausoleum of General San Martín, Argentina´s independence hero), and the “Cabildo” (Town Hall). We continue our way through May Avenue, that joins the “Plaza de Mayo” with the Congress, with its Art Nouveau buildings, old hotels, theaters and cafes
We continue our journey towards San Telmo, a neighborhood of bohemians, artists, antiques shops and cobbled streets. We will pass around Dorrego Square, where each Sunday thousands of tourists and “porteños” (Buenos Aires inhabitants) visit the antique fair that is held there.
Our tour goes on to the neighborhood of La Boca, with its colorful tenements, where a lot of artists open their studios and workshops. We will walk along the mythical street of “Caminito”
Neighborhood was totally redesigned in the nineties. Its new residential area, very close to the river, houses three design hotels, chic restaurants and exclusive apartment buildings.
We head towards the north where we will stop at San Martín Square, surrounded by elegant buildings with French architecture, and one of the most aristocratic areas of Buenos Aires.
We continue our tour in the traditional neighborhood of Palermo, strolling along its large parks, rose gardens and lakes, the porteños favorite place to practice sports or give long walks.
We end our tour in Recoleta district, one of the most fashionable parts of the city, which includes South America’s most opulent and extraordinary cemetery, the resting place of Eva Peron.
