Lunch at noon. Dry landing, hiking, educational visit to the Charles Darwin Station (giant tortoises, Opuntia cactus, etc.). Degree of difficulty: easy Duration: 2 hours, dinner at night.

Am: Sullivan Bay

Breakfast in the morning.This site is of great geological interest is located south-east of Santiago Island, landing it can be done both on the rocky shore (dry landing) or the white sandy beach (wet landing). The length of the trail is 1.5 km approximately.

The area is covered by lava flows Pahohoe type (solidified lava in a wavy or accordion). It was very active in the past 25 years of the nineteenth century. The Sullivan lava was formed in 1897. Flow is very young geologically. The magma formed is flat, but the underground lava movement, rapid cooling and other eruptions led to the break in many places. Difficulty: Moderate Duration approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Lunch at noon.

Wet Landing, After lunch visit to the Pinnacle Rock beach for swimming and snorkeling.

In the afternoon dry landing to reach the viewpoint of Bartolome. On this island, you can see interesting formations of lava and cinder cones. After a 30 to 40 minutes climbing, a wooden staircase leads to the top of the island where there are beautiful views of the nearby beaches. This island is one of the most visited and photographed because of Pinnacle Rock. Degree of difficulty: Moderate, Duration 1 Hour 30 Minutes. Dinner in the evening.

Am: North Seymour

Breakfast in the morning. Dry landing. On this island you can see blue-footed boobies, colonies of frigates, fork-tailed gulls, terns, sea lions, lava lizards and land iguanas. Palo Santo trees can also be observed. Difficulty: Moderate Duration approximately 2 hours. Lunch at noon.

 Wet Landing. The Islet is Located between the islands of Baltra and North Seymour. It is a reef of rocks and coral (the result of an uprising) and a great white sand beach.In most of its perimeter there is basis of lava rocks, as evidence of the wash uprising, except in the southwest side where the landing occurs. This island has one of the largest Populations of sea lions.You can also observe several species of shorebirds. There have been occasional reports at this site of Orcas (Orcinus orca).Degree of difficulty: easy, Duration approximately 1 hour, Dinner in the evening.

Am: South Plazas

Breakfast in the morning. Dry landing. This island is full of life. There are colonies of sea lions and land iguanas. While you walk on the banks it is possible to see a great number of birds such as nesting tropic birds and fork-tailed seagulls, but most of all enjoying the beautiful view from the top the steep banks or strolling along the base of the cliff is an extremely pleasurable experience. The Opuntiacactus grow here too and the vegetation changes color according to the season of the year. Paths: easy, duration: 2 Hours. Lunch at noon.

Pm: Witch Hill

Wet Landing is a beautiful beach of white coral where you can swim and watch birds and sea lions, plus you can snorkel. Located on the north coast of the San Cristobal Island. In the vicinity of the beach you can see seabirds like blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, herons, frigate birds and shore birds. Degree of difficulty: easy, Duration approximately 2 hours, Dinner in the evening.

Pm: Cerro Colorado

dry landing. After a bus ride of 45 minutes to reach Cerro Colorado, where you can see giant Galapagos tortoises in a Breading Center. Degree of difficulty: easy, 2 Hour Approx.Dinner in the evening.

Am: Gardner Bay

After breakfast, we explore the coastline along the impressive cliffs of Buccaneer Cove, learning about the area’s distant and recent history. The cove is home to a large number of marine birds, sea lions, and inter-tidal organisms. Enjoy fantastic natural formations such as the “Elephant Rock”, “The Bishop” and an impressive natural cave. This is a great site for snorkeling or panga ride.

Pm: Punta Suarez

Dry Landing. During the walk on this island you can see sea lions, marine iguanas, blue footed boobies, Nazca boobies, Darwin finches, Galapagos hawks, albatrosses, lava lizards, herons. Degree of difficulty: difficult, Duration: 2 Hours. Dinner in the evening.

Am: Post Office Bay

Breakfast in the morning. Wet Landing.This is one of the few visitor sites, that is visited for its human history. Whaling Captain James Colnett established the wooden post barrel in the early 1793. At the time whaling was a big industry, ships were typically gone for 2 years at a time. The Galapagos Islands were a frequent stop for these ships. Outbound ships would drop off letters after rounding the cape and the ships returning home would mail them.

Over the years thousands of ships have stopped to send and receive mail at Post Office Bay. Many have posted a sign of driftwood or other materials memorializing their visit. This is the only area in the Galapagos were graffiti is still acceptable.

Pm: Cormorant Point

Wet Landing, This site has a sandy olivine beach for walking and swimming. The island also has a flamingo lagoon. In addition, white sand beach where sea turtles nest from December to May. Degree of difficulty: easy Duration: 2 Hours. Dinner in the evening.

Am: Santa Fe

Breakfast in the morning. Wet Landing. Dinner in the evening.

Am: EL Chato

Breakfast in the morning. Dry Landing. El Chato reserve is divided into two areas; Caseta and Chato. The trail begins at Santa Rosa, 22 km from Puerto Ayora, with the Caseta route being the more challenging. The reserve allows visitors to observe giant tortoises in the wild during the dry season, and is also a good place to spot short-eared owls, Darwin’s finches, yellow warblers, Galapagos rails and paint-billed crakes. Degree of difficulty: Easy. Duration: 1 hour 30 Minutes.– Transfer out to Baltra’s Airport.
